Partnerships

An effective planning and provision for the multitude of needs in marginalized communities calls for shared responsibilities. BUF focuses on partnering with various stakeholders who have the resources, skills and passion for a developed society.

We therefore network with other organizations and institutions that share the same mission of transforming people’s lives. We are in contact with a broad and diverse range of state and non-state partners who are committed to social development and have a stake in the future growth and stability of the Rwenzori Region and Uganda at large. This includes civil society organizations, professional associations, research institutions, academia, and the media. As much as possible, we are keeping a balance between national, regional, district and sub-county partners, also in our contacts with governmental authorities.

Partnership programs may be embarked upon whenever the potential partners’ mandate is consistent with the aims, objectives and values of BUF and aids to foster our goal of social development.
